Ferzan Özpetek's 'Hamam' film, which was awarded in festivals in Ankara and Antalya, tells the story of Francesco and Marta, husband and wife who run a small design company in Rome. When Anita, his aunt who Francesco has forgotten long time ago, passed away, she travels to Istanbul and goes to the sales of the bathhouse she had inherited. There, he meets the family who runs this bath. He feels closeness to the family members and wants to get to know them better. With all of his close family feeling and the atmosphere in Turkey, he renounces selling bath.
